> We now support syncing access permission information for SSO applications registered in Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD).
We now support syncing access permission information for SSO applications. This applies to applications registered in Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD). This improves shadow IT detection accuracy and streamlines IT audit and inventory workflows.
## Update Overview
Previously, Microsoft Entra ID integration focused mainly on syncing account and group information. With this release, you can now also sync access permission data for each SSO application managed in Entra ID. This includes which employees have access to which applications.
## Benefits
**Improved shadow IT and orphaned account detection**: Compare Entra ID-accessible applications against actual usage. This lets you more accurately identify gaps.
**Streamlined IT audit and inventory workflows**: Centrally manage and visualize SSO application access by employee. This reduces the burden of audit responses and periodic reviews.
## Setup
Go to Integrations > Integrations, and select **Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)** under the "ID Provider" section. Follow the steps in the **Connect via IDP** tab.
