# How Usernames Are Displayed (Retrieval Criteria)

> Criteria for retrieving displayed usernames (account names).

User names are displayed based on the following retrieval criteria.

#### **Services Screen**

The display name configured in each service (SaaS) is used.

#### **Directory Screen**

#### **Accounts Registered in the Employee Master**

* **When the "Data Source" field appears in "Directory Settings"**

You can configure whether to use the HRM or this service as the display name source for the employee master.

* **When the "Data Source" field does not appear in "Directory Settings"**

The display name registered in the employee master takes priority.

#### **Accounts Not Registered in the Employee Master / No Employee Master Configured**

For accounts that do not exist in the employee master, the account name registered first is displayed.

Example: Guest users (external accounts)
