Supported Features

Device Aggregation
Global administrator privileges are required for this integration. Account information is not synchronized. To use this integration, the device management feature is required. For MDM integration, please refer to 4-0. Integrate MDM-compatible SaaS with the Admina device ledger.

Integration Setup (Admina)

  1. In Admina, go to Integrations > Integrations and search for Microsoft Intune.
Microsoft Intune search screen
  1. Optionally enter values for “Values representing unknown serial numbers (multiple allowed)”, then click [Connect].
    • If there are values representing unknown serial numbers such as “0”, enter them in the optional field.
    • Note: If serial numbers are duplicated, only the most recent one will be used.
Integration settings screen
  1. Sign in with a global administrator account, then click Accept for the requested permissions.
Permission acceptance screen
  1. Once the integration is complete, Microsoft Intune devices will be synchronized to the Devices menu.
    • If the process does not complete successfully, go to the Status tab on the integration screen, click Edit, and try connecting again.
    • If the issue persists, please contact us via chat.

MDM Integration

If you are using the device management feature, you can synchronize devices with Microsoft Intune.

Recommendations When Integrating Both Intune and Jamf

We recommend connecting Jamf first, then connecting Intune afterwards. This is because more synchronized fields can be made visible in Admina. Jamf supports 25 synchronizable fields, while Intune supports 16. If you connect Intune for MDM integration first, devices registered in Jamf may also be managed in Intune, and the Intune-side data for those Jamf-registered devices will be synchronized. As a result, the 25 fields that would normally be visible in Admina become limited to 16. Therefore, if you use Apple products and Jamf, we recommend connecting via Jamf first.

FAQ

Q. What if I have already connected MDM integration with Intune first? A. Stop the Intune sync and delete the Intune-side Jamf-registered device data that was synchronized in Admina. Then start MDM integration with Jamf, and finally reconnect MDM integration with Intune. Q. I have MDM integration with Microsoft Intune, but can I edit the Keyboard/SIM Number fields? A. Keyboard/SIM Number can now be entered.
