Prerequisites

If You Are Using 2FA (Two-Factor Authentication)

As described in Cybozu’s “When two-factor authentication is configured (external site)”, users with two-factor authentication enabled cannot execute REST API with password authentication. Please prepare a dedicated integration user with two-factor authentication disabled.

How to Log In to Kintone

  1. On the Kintone login page, enter your subdomain and click the button to proceed to the login screen.

How to Obtain the Workspace Key

After logging in to Kintone, part of the URL on the next screen is your workspace key — save it. https://{workspace key}.cybozu.com Workspace key confirmation screen

How to Obtain the API Key

There are two integration methods: the “API” tab and the “ID/Password” tab. To integrate using the “API” tab, refer to Generate an API token (external site) for setup instructions.

Integration Setup

  1. In the Admina integration screen, search for kintone (Japan).

  1. There are two integration methods: the “API” tab and the “ID/Password” tab. Follow the steps for your chosen method. To integrate using the “API” tab: Enter the following and click [Connect].

  • Workspace Name: Enter any name you prefer.
  • Workspace Key: Enter the workspace key obtained in How to Obtain the Workspace Key.
  • Username: Enter the common administrator’s email address.
  • Password: Enter the common administrator’s password.
  • Username (Basic Auth): If Basic authentication is configured, enter the Basic authentication login name.
  • Password (Basic Auth): If Basic authentication is configured, enter the Basic authentication password.

  1. Once the Kintone integration is successful, the registered user information will appear in the account list.
